Today's Craft Beer Advent Calendar selection is familiar to me:  Half Bastard by Nickel Brook.  Regrettably it was infected (or soured…).  It frothed violently on opening and I ended up pouring it down the drain.  Others on Ratebeer reported a similar experience.  This is a shame as it would have been such a good introduction for many to this fine brewery.
