205/3922) Goose Island Brewhouse:  Triple/Time by Goose Island Beer Co. of Ontario:  ***1/2; 8% Belgian style Tripel; golden; clove and banana nose; sweet with mild spice, clove and banana notes, as well as bubblegum;

The release of Bourbon County Stout was delayed by a week in draught form and by two weeks at the LCBO site.  The official release was at 4PM and I arrived absurdly early so I tried this one to pass the time.

206/3923) Goose Island Brewhouse:  Bourbon County Stout 2020 by Goose Island Beer Co. of Ontario:  ****1/2;   14.6%, 60 ibu; strong boozy bourbon nose with roasted malt; sweet, boozy dark roasted malt flavours;

207/3924) Goose Island Brewhouse:  Bourbon County Stout 2021 by Goose Island Beer Co. of Ontario:  ****1/2; 14.0% 60 ibu; nose as boozy as previously but the dark roasted malt is more prominent with sweet bourbon; sweet, mild alcohol notes, roasted malt and coffee;

208/3925) Goose Island Brewhouse:  Bourbon County Stout 2022 by Goose Island Beer Co. of Ontario:  ****1/2; 14.6%; on warming, sweet boozy bourbon nose with odd herbal scents; boozy, sweet bourbon and dark roasted malt;

They were serving these just a little too cold so it made for an opportunity for conversation and comparing notes as we warmed these in ours hands.  As we go back in time, they seemed less boozy.  Over time, the roasted malts assumed prominence.
