140/4886) Home:  Simmer (2026) by Badlands Brewing of Ontario in collaboration with BreWsky and Bad Bones, both of Quebec:  ****; 8.2% DIPA; Badlands modified their malt bill to bring it in line with their collaborators; with Riwaka, Citra and Peacharine hop kief; shortened boil time; murky, pale; nose of citrus and stone fruit; opens with bitterness, sweet after taste yields to dry bitternmess;

141/4887) Home:  Bald Moon by Badlands Brewing in collaboration with Willibald and Third Moon, all from Ontario:  ****1/2; 11% Quadruple IPA; hopped with Galaxy, Tropical Fusion, Riwaka, Citra cryo and Wai-iti cold pressed hop juice; murky, nearly swampy; citrus and tropical aromas; dry citrus, pineapple and tropical flavours; 

While Third Moon are no stranger to QIPAs, this is Badlands’ first QIPA, and perhaps the bst of the lot.  A find way to end off the 9th anniversary release.
