148/4109) Home: Rings of Saturn by High Park Brewery of Ontario: ****; 6.5%, 35 ibu hazy IPA; dry-hopped with Galaxy and Citra; pours hazy/cloudy; nose is strong peach; hint of pine, stone fruit and mango;

147/4108) Home: Left Hand Path - Nelson Sauvin by Third Moon Brewing Co. of Ontario: ****; West Coast IPA; named for an album by Entombed; nose: if you could burn white wine as per Jay Leno’s Starbucks joke, it would smell like this; white wine flavours;
This is an odd one. I found the disagreeable nose dissipated after a couple of weeks in the fridge and I ended up raising the rating. This sometimes happens with Badlands as well and may explain why I am prone to like their canned IPAs as much or more than the draught versions.

146/4107) Home: Chaotic Sumer by Badlands Brewing of Ontario: ****; 6.5%; IPA; cloudy; I hear the term “vegetal” on occasion and I think it would apply to the nose in this instance, with peaches and citrus; tastes of orange and grapefruit with a mild sweetness;
July 12, 2023
145/4106) Home: Pedestal (Pink) by Badlands Brewing of Ontario: ***1/2; 6.5%; "Pink!" is a nes hop to me, from Jackson Farms; only somewhat foggy; nose is characteristic candied hop notes with stonefruit; unusual flavours from Badlands – honey, stonefruit and citrus;

144/4105) Home: July DIPA (2023) by Badlands Brewing of Ontario: ****; 8.2%; hopped with Riwaka, Mosaic and Motueka; murky; tastes of tropical fruit and berries with an ever so mild hint of alcohol;
