129/1947) Home:  Northern Logger by Sleeping Giant Brewery of Ontario:  *1/2;  4.9% 17 ibu;  a golden ale;  sweet fruity nose;  malty and fruity with a sweet finish;  not bad for a golden ale;

Brewed in Thunder Bay.  Sleeping Giant National Park, in the Thunder Bay area, is named for a natural formation which is said to resemble a reclining giant when it is viewed at the proper angle, and perhaps after a couple of martinis in the right company.

130/1948) Home:  Chuao Porter by Amsterdam Brewery of Ontario:  **1/2;  6.5%, 25 ibu;  an Amsterdam Adventure Brew;   brewed with cocoa nibs from Chuao, Venezuela - chocolate from this region is highly regarded;  nose is cocoa and alcohol with dark fruit., flavours of cocoa with some vanilla in the finish;
