105/1923) Monk's Kettle: Bitter by St. Mary Axe of Ontario: **; 4.7%, 32 ibu; malty nose; rich malty flavours with a hoppy snap at the finish; contract brewed in London, Ontario, it styles itself a Canadian Best Bitter; named for St. Mary Axe medieval church in London, England, which was demolished during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I;
106/1924) Monk's Kettle: Undercover Brother, a collaboration between Brothers' Brewing Company and Brimstone of Ontario: *1/2; 6%, 23 ibu; a White Chai Stout brewed with coffee, milk sugar, chocolate and chai; sweet, nearly sugary nose; sweet, mildly chocolatey; I am missing the roastiness;
107/1925) Monk's Kettle: Shumei IPA by Blood Brothers Brewing of Ontario: **; 6.5%; piney nose; strong piney flavours; 2 is perhaps a harsh rating but this is a crowded field and I find it is harder for an IPA to impress me these days;
