332/2553) Home:  Munich Lager by von Bugle Brewing of Ontario:  *1/2; 5%; brewed with three malts, unhusked roasted barley and three hop varieties; grainy nose; grassy, grainy notes, hint of leafy bitterness;  a very good Munich style lager;

von Bugle is a Steam Whistle spin-off.  Creating a separate brewery allows them to continue to say they do one thing and do it well.  Domi Terra Nostra Patria translates as at home the land of our country.

333/2554) Home:  Skeleton Key Spiced Imperial Stout with Coffee and Vanilla 2018 by Bellwoods Brewery of Ontario:  **1/2; 10.9%; aged in rum barrels for one year; bitter, dark coffee nose tempered by sweet, spiced vanilla; the taste is a blend of spices, coffee, vanilla;  no sign of the Dr. Pepper notes from the Péché Day offering;
