In spite of the minor disaster that was last year's Craft Beer Advent Calendar experience I am going to try it again and because it arrived in time I can experience it according to the rules.

Today's cask at the 3 Brewers in Mississauga was last year's Festive ale. aged for an entire year in a cask. There was no oak or anything so I am not counting it as a new beer but it made for an interesting side by side comparison with this year's version. Good though it is, I do prefer this year's edition. I was wishing they would have aged the Winter Warmer.
