359/2580) Monk's Kettle. Etobicoke:  Surround Sound by Collective Arts of Ontario:  **1/2; 8.2%; sweet tropical fruit nose;  citrusy, tropical flavours;  another winning IPA from Collective Arts;

The Monk's Kettle (Note to lawyers:  the one in Etobicoke) is under new management.  The menu, including the specials, and the beer list remain largely unchanged, at least in spirit.  What is different is the energy has returned.  I felt a certain malaise the last time I was there. 

I felt much the same way during my most recent visit to the beerbistro.  Some have suggested the nearby and newly opened Craft Beer Market is taking business away.  I have not been but based on descriptions from those who have it seems different enough that there should be room for both.
