319/2540) Home:  McNall's Mission Honey Brown Ale by Cowbell Brewing Co. of Ontario:  **; from their Founders Series; 4.8%, 20 ibu; toasted biscuit nose; honey is nicely understated, complimenting rather than overshadowing the flavours and adding caramel like notes to flavors of mild chocolate, toasted malt, biscuit;

George McNall was a company scout in World War 1 and received a medal for "conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty"in 1918.  He enlisted again at 45 years of age as a dispatch rider in World War 2 and returned safely to Blythe.  Among the things I like about this brewery is their dedication to local history and local characters.
