33/3383) Home:  Euro Pilsner by Perth Brewery of Ontario:  ***;  4.9%, 28 ibu; clear; only four ingredients; an unpretentious Old School pilsner brewed with Munich malts and Saaz hops; the Saaz is restrained; grassy, malty nose; malts, grain, mild spice; smooth - would be great on a hot day;

34/3384) Home:  Apex by Lake of Bays Brewing Co. of Ontario:  **; 10%, 55 ibu; a Triple IPA hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe; dry hopped with Barbe Rouge and Galaxy; also with additions of pineapple juice concentrate and "white wheat"; pours translucent with a scanty head; nose is dominated  by pineapple; tastes of pineapple, laboratory grade alcohol and resin; only a touch of carbonation; disappointing; I wish the hops were able to speak for themselves; perhaps more assertive malt would have helped;
