5/3355) Home: O'Hara's Leann Folláin by Carlow Brewing Company of Ireland: ****; 6.0%, 45 ibu; an Extra Irish Stout brewed with wheat and barley malt; translates from Gaelic as wholesome ale or stout; pours very dark; nose of roasted malt, unsweetened chocolate, dark coffee; mouthfeel is rather thin given all that is going on; dark chocolate, dark coffee, mild spice from hops; only getting the faintest hint of the vanilla the label suggests;
