5/3355) Home:  O'Hara's Leann Folláin by Carlow Brewing Company of Ireland:  ****; 6.0%, 45 ibu; an Extra Irish Stout brewed with wheat and barley malt; translates from Gaelic as wholesome ale or stout; pours very dark; nose of roasted malt, unsweetened chocolate, dark coffee; mouthfeel is rather thin given all that is going on;  dark chocolate, dark coffee, mild spice from hops; only getting the faintest hint of the vanilla the label suggests;

6/3356) Home:  O'Hara's Irish Red Traditional Ale by Carlow Brewing Company of Ireland:  ***; 4.3%; brewed with barley malt and wheat; nose of caramel, blunted by hop bitterness; sweet and malty with the caramel notes typical of the style but with a hint of hops offsetting the sweetness;
