37/3387) Home: Double Up by Old Tomorrow of Ontario: ***1/2; a 6.5% coffee milk stout; pours dark with a mocha coloured head; nose is sweet and reminiscent of latte or hot cocoa; milky sweet - very nearly too much so with notes of espresso and hot cocoa; above average carbonation;
38/3388) Home: Stille Nacht by Brouwerij de Dolles Browers of Belgium: ***1/2; 12%; brewed with candi sugar and Nugget hops and boiled "for many hours", not the usual single hour; pours translucent; I was put off by the funk in the nose but I persisted; spice, honey, sugar, peach, a touch of alcohol; some tang to this as well; there is also a touch of orange; I bought a second bottle to age; above average carbonation;
