A random thought:  the presenter of my favourite Toronto pubs blog has firm opinions regarding children in pubs but it occurs to me today that this might be due to the fact that there is something decidedly off  where Toronto children are concerned, likely because there is something decidedly off about their parents.  Perhaps exposure to other varieties of young people might lead to a change of heart.
